Most cruise passengers fly into Fort Lauderdale the day before and spend it at the hotel. The courses are twenty minutes from the port. Here is how to play one of them without carrying a golf bag onto a ship.
Two days, one bag, no luggage.
The day you arrive
Land at FLL, check in near the beach or the port, and find the bag waiting with the bell desk in your name. Choose the evening-before window, 4 to 7 PM, when you book. Play that afternoon if your flight is early, or sleep on it.
The morning of your cruise
A 7 AM tee time at a course near the port has you back at the hotel by 11. Boarding at Port Everglades runs through the early afternoon for most sailings, so the round fits with time to spare for a shower.
Handing the bag back
Choose the 11 AM to 1 PM pickup window on your cruise day and leave the bag with the bell desk, or play the day before you sail and choose 8 to 11 AM. Either way the bag is our problem and the ship is yours.

One bag, two days, delivered and collected.
Book two days: the day you arrive and the day you sail. Day one is the daily rate and day two is 85 percent of it, so a Standard bag for the two days is about $$59 plus the second day, and Premium a little more. Delivery and pickup are included at every hotel and rental from the beach to the airport. Add golf balls, a glove, tees or a rangefinder and they are packed with the clubs. If your flight lands late and you only want the cruise-day round, book one day with a first-day window from 6 AM.
- Book online with the hotel's address and the evening-before window.
- Tell the bell desk a bag is coming in your name; we hand it over with a claim ticket.
- Play, then leave the bag with the desk in your pickup window. Board with a carry-on.
